According to National Today’s website, International Day of Awesomeness “is a day where anybody, no matter who they are, may celebrate their awesomeness.”
What comes to mind when you read the phrase may celebrate?
What we hear in that is permission.
Yes, permission!
This is one-hundred percent raw, uncensored, unfiltered permission to celebrate YOU.
And that means celebrating you no matter what…
No matter what your life looks like at this moment.
No matter what challenges you are facing currently.
No matter what you may believe you still lack, or still have to somehow “fix” about yourself or your life.
Because first of all, you are not broken.

And we’ll never stop saying it.
You are not broken.
You are, in fact…
AWESOME!
Just as you are…

On this International Day of Awesomeness, we invite you to let your body relax, take some deep breaths, exhale deeply, and let it all go.
Let go of all the expectations – self-imposed, other-imposed, or culturally-imposed – around how you ‘should’ be showing up in your eroticism.
Let go of any outdated stories you may have about where you are sexually inadequate, not sexually experienced enough, or not sexually knowledgeable enough.
Let go of any imaginary timelines that would somehow signify ‘real progress’ on your erotic journey…
Because what if erotic expansion does not follow a linear path?
In fact, what if the occasional contraction is okay… normal, even?
Could you give yourself permission sometimes – to regress, to contract, to resist?
Maybe, as you acclimate to giving yourself permission for a full-spectrum erotic experience (and this includes parts of the journey you might not enjoy as much), you could even begin to love yourself more at those difficult places.
We feel pretty confident saying that even if you are meeting your Shadow, or resisting some part of your own erotic expansion, or even feeling downright turned off by all things sexuality at the moment…

Just allow it.
